Our new Trusted Partners page goes live today, and there is only one name on it. That is deliberate.

First, what we mean by "trusted partner"

A word on the label before we get to the welcome, because it matters.

We are building Creating Better to be different. We only want to work with technology that works and people we believe in, and we recommend both for one reason alone. They are right for the organisation in front of us.

So, a trusted partner, for us, is not a simple vendor relationship. It is an organisation we have seen up close, whose work we admire, and whose people we would happily put in front of our own clients. The test is simple. Would we stake our name on them?

Meet Colligo Labs

Colligo Labs is led by co-founders Dr Hina Choksy Evans and Paul Hainsworth, and they do something the health and social care sector badly needs. They help care providers, local authorities, charities and community organisations understand, measure and prove the value of what they do.

Their Social Return on Investment work is underpinned by the HM Treasury Green Book, the government's own framework for assessing value. Their community mapping shows how places really perform, where the gaps in access and infrastructure sit, and where local strengths are hiding in plain sight.

But it is not just what they do that matters. It is how they do it. Spend any time with this team and the intelligence, the knowledge and the sheer enthusiasm shine through, and they have certainly shone through to me.

You do not have to take our word for any of it. Organisations across the sector, from Digital Care Hub to Care Friends, have said publicly what we have seen privately. This is a team with deep knowledge of social care and a genuinely collaborative way of working.

Why them, and why first

Anyone who has met with me lately will have heard me recommend Colligo Labs as if it were the latest and greatest new tune on the radio. I cannot help myself, and I am not going to apologise for it.

The honest answer why is simple. We love what they do, we love the product, and we love the people in the business.

There is a deeper reason too, and it goes to the heart of the firm we are building.

What Colligo Labs does for their clients is completely independent, just as our advice is for ours. They help organisations measure the social value of their own projects, and the result is strong, meaningful and verified. These are not marketing numbers or hopeful estimates dressed up as evidence.
